Probate
If the decedent owned property at the time of death, court proceedings may
be required. This is typically done in the county in which the decedent
resided or owned property. If the decedent did not have a Will, the court
will apply a statutory distribution schedule.
At Neumann Law, P.C. Attorneys At Law, our experienced, caring and trusted staff will assist you in formulating an Estate Plan tailored to your personal needs and situations.
What is a Will?
A will is a written document, signed and witnessed, that instructs how your property will be disposed at the time of your death. It is revocable and subject to amendment at any time during your lifetime. Call us to talk to our friendly staff and learn more!
What is a Living Trust?
A living trust provides lifetime and after-death property management. If you are serving as your own trustee, the trust instrument will provide for a successor upon your death or incapacity. Court intervention is not required. Each Estate Plan is as unique as the individual client.
